Registration is free. You will be charged 5% of your homestay fee to hs-bookig.com as a fee. When you send a stay request to your host family, the host family will be notified with your information. Your host family will look at your schedule and your information to decide within 48 hours wheather to accept or decline your request.
Regardless of the result, you will be notified of the judgment result via email or My Page. Guests and hosts cannot contact each other without permission from the host family. Once accepted, you will be sent the exact address and contact information of your host family.
1 Find a host
You can find the best host family for you based on the location, period, inspiration of music lovers and sports lovers.
2 Send a stay request
The request will be sent to your host family along with the information on your My Page. Within 48 hours, the host will look at the schedule and your information to make an acceptance decision and the guest will receive the results. Acceptance results will be sent even if they are not accepted.
3 Payment of costs
Before confirming your reservation, you must pay the full amount by the due date displayed on the confirmation screen on the site. Please pay to hs-booking.com instead of directly to your host family. We will temporarily deposit money on hs-booking.com and pay the host for a week's stay for each week. If the host does not stay at the guest's responsibility, a refund will be given. No payment will be made to the host. Refunds will require a valid reason, so you will need to contact hs-booking.com using the non-night contact form.
4 Homestay review registration
After returning to Japan, please evaluate using the simple procedure of your exprience. The reviews you receive will of course serve as a reference for the future operation of hs-booking.com, and can be an important decision for anyone looking for a host family in the future. In addition, the review results will be sent to the host family, which will lead to future improvements.
Host
It's free registration to become a host. You will receive a stay request from your guest. Guest information will be sent with your stay request. We will make an acceptance decision within 48 hours based on the guest's information and schedule.
1 Sign up
You can sign up with just your name, date of birth, and email address.
2 To become a host
To become a host, follow 7 steps to get your home, family and you registered. How you register determines whether your host looks attractive. Personal information, address / email address, will not be disclosed on the Internet.
3 Compensation
Payment will be made via hs-booking.com. Hs-booking.com charges a 5-10% service charge which is automatically deducted from the weekly payments. Payment to the host will be made every Friday for the accommodation up until the Thursday of the preceding week. The service charge is used to improve the quality of services and the website. If the host is unable to accommodate their confirmed guest for reasons other than from the guest, payment to the host will not be made and the full amount for the days cancelled will be refunded to the guest.
